Egypt orders slaughter of all pigs over swine flu

The farmers of Egypt need to kill their 300,000 pigs.  The Agriculture Minister says they will not be compensated because they can sell the meat.

Israeli Minister loses at kosherizing “Swine flu”

Yakov Litzman, the Deputy Health Minister of Israel (a member of United Torah Judaism, an ultra-conservative party) didn’t want a non-Kosher name for a flu.  He preferred the  name “Mexico flu.”  Mexico officially complained and Israel backed off, with a foreign ministry official saying:

Israel has no intention of giving the flu any new names. It was nothing more than a slip of the tongue.

Radio Shack employee charged with punching customer

In Eau Claire, Wis., when a 56-year-old customer asks a 52-year-old employee to see the manager regarding a return, the employee starts punching him.
